Refurbished Macbook

Refurbished MacBook Pro - Does It Worth The Money?
Honestly speaking, refurbished macbook pro is as dependable as new macs. I have owned two refurbished Macs and never had a hitch with either. They come with the same warranty as a new Mac and you can continually procure apple care to extend the warranty. They are same as any other computer, but faster, and i never come across any obstacle with connecting to the Internet.
In other words it is a fantastic computer. Some of them do have a small number of scratches but then, none of that hurts. The ultimate goal here is to save a couple hundred bucks. In fact, mine smells like brand new. I do endorse it as it is guaranteed to work comletely better.

QUESTION:
Should i get a refurbished macbook pro with applecare or start with a new one?
I am looking to switch from an HP laptop to potentially a mac. I saw on apples website that i can get a refurbished 13" Aluminum Macbook Pro for 9 and a three year applecare plan for 0. Together thats just about equal to a new 13" aluminum macbook pro. Is it worth getting a refurb with the warranty or starting with a new macbook and only the one year?ANSWER:
Get the refurbished one. Apple does an extraordinary job of refurbishing their products. Also, get the AppleCare either way. AppleCare is free on all Apple products for a year, and you can buy it anytime before that year is up. So, even though I STRONGLY recommend AppleCare, give the year a test and see how it goes. AppleCare has been extremely helpful for me. I brought my MacBook Pro in to get a tiny bubble in my display checked out and they ended up replacing my display. The repair total was around 0, which I didn't pay a cent for because of AppleCare. (oh and I bought my MacBook Pro new, and the bubble was still there) In summary, buy the refurbished one, and buy AppleCare! Oh, and if you are a student, there is a HUGE discount on AppleCare. Also, AppleCare will NOT cover any damage cause by you. (just a warning)
QUESTION:
Does a refurbished macbook work like a new one?
I want to buy a macbook pro 15" that is REFURBISHED. I don't really see the big difference between a 2100$ new one and a refurbished 1200$ one. Is there something about refurbished laptops that make them bad? Or are they like a new laptop. Again it is a macbook pro 15" from Apple.ANSWER:
YEAH ! mine is a refirished one and it runs like new ..no problem!! go for it, happy i did. what they are actually doing is give you new hard drive and fix the macbook. doesn't mean it's broken. i asked the guy what they do to refurbish it and he said add a new hard drive, new screen and new keyboard and mouse.go for it !

QUESTION:
Where can I buy a refurbished macbook in the NW of England?
Where can I buy a refurbished macbook in the North West of England (Lancashire/Manchester)? I'm looking for a very reasonable price and with some sort of warranty.I'm watching a few on eBay but I'd rather see what I'm getting before I commit to buy something like this.
I've checked on the Apple site but they tend to be the Macbook Pro which are too expensive. My daughter only has £500 to spend.
Thanks for any suggestions!
ANSWER:
Keep looking on the Apple Stores as they regularly have MacBooks, although there are none today. Also try the Jigsaw site http://www.jigsaw24.com/refurb.aspx or Cancom http://www.cancomuk.com/Home/Clearance/Refurbished-Products although neither have anything today.
