Difference Between a Mac and a PC

PC stands for personal computer. But, one thing is for sure, the difference between a Mac and a PC is not in the name. It's actually branding that has given a particular identity to any non-Apple PC, thereby separating them from Mac products made by Apple. Yet, the Mac and anything referred to as a PC are all considered personal computers, with differences that remain in their individual operating systems.

Don't worry, though. Because Macs and PCs in general are all personal computers, they can be used to surf the Internet, open email, and all the other things you look for in a computer. They can also be networked together. In other words, there is not much difference in their purpose, as Mac parts and PC parts are basically the same.

They will be in the Refurb Store once they have one refurbed: either a floor model that's refurbed or a return that's been booted by another consumer (that's the most common).

I'm going to guess they will go quick though! Like, within minutes of being posted.

If you don't want to wait you can look at AppleInsider's price guide: they update daily to show who has the best deals on Macs.

I was looking at buying a refurbished macbook pro '09 15" 2.66 ghz refurbished. It is a lot less than I was planning to spend, and it is beter than the one I was hoping to buy. Refurbished means It was sent to the factory and was inspected, repaired, and shipped out again, so it should be good as new, right? This is what I want to know.
