What Should I Do When it Doesn't Work? New Macbook Pro's Battery Can not be Changed
As the Macworld 2009 coming, more and more on the new Macbook Pro17-inch notebook product news come out, from the multi-information claims that the new version of the Macbook Pro and other new generation of Apple's notebooks use the same airframe integration design, but is likely to adopt the built-in fixed batteries as macbook air, rather than replaceable battery module.
New Macbook Pro 17 inch and a new version of Mac mini will be launched this week, which two new Apple models will use the latest NVIDIA chipset MCP79 platform.
In addition, Mac mini will quit the original Firewire 400 interface. Not only providing a Firewire 800 and the fifth USB interface, Mini DVI interface will also directly support Apple's latest LED panel Cinema Display.

i'm thinking of buying a macbook pro. what programs if any are already installed? if there are any that i should get how much would they cost?
Some free programs that come with your mac:
Safari: An internet browser like Internet Explorer, but it is a lot different and it is safer.
iMovie: Allows you to make movies
iDVD: Allows you to make DVDs
iWeb: Allow you to make web pages
iChat: A program that allows you to get on AIM (AOL Instant Messenger)
TextEdit: Sort of like WordPad for Windows
iTunes: The program to access your ipod, plays music, and stores them in library, and also does cool stuff.
QuickTime: Plays videos, music, photos, etc. and can do a lot of formats.
There are some other stuff for macs that is just amazing.
Windows sucks when it comes to default program. Internet Games, wordpad, notepad, paint, Internet Explorer? Pathetic.
The ones I said are installed already, where stuff liek this for windows you have to find.
I hope you enjoy your mac and if you have any questions, let me know.
I have just recently bought a macbook pro, and i have a couple questions about it. The trackpad doesn't do the pinch, rotate, and swipe things. I don't know how to make it work. Any suggestions. I would also like to know if there are any other cool shortcuts you can do on safari? Thank you.
Are you sure you bought the new one? They might have sold you the older one. Check the specs by going to the apple icon and then to about this mac and match them with these specs of the new one.

Should I buy a macbook pro or another laptop? Are there any pc's that have better hardware, and less expensive then the macbook pro?
Mac's are the best computer you can buy.
It all depends on what you would need one for.
But in the end, a Mac is pound for pound just as cheap as a PC.
